2.1 Merchant Information

When you install and configure the App we collect and store:

• Your Shopify store domain (e.g. your-store.myshopify.com)
• Plushvie API Key and Client Key — used to authenticate your account with the Plushvie AI backend. The Client Key is encrypted at rest using AES-256-CBC encryption and is never transmitted to your browser.
• Plushvie Customer ID — a reference identifier returned by the Plushvie backend after successful credential validation.
• JewelTry API Key — used to power the JewelTry JS embed feature.
• App settings (e.g. auto-save preference).
• Product mappings — Shopify product IDs, titles, and SKU identifiers you associate with try-on features.

2.2 Shopify Store Data

The App requests read_products and write_products scopes to fetch your product catalogue and save AI-generated images and videos back to your products. We do not access order data, customer profiles, financial data, or any scope beyond what is listed.

2.3 End-Customer Data (your shoppers)

When a shopper uses the Virtual Try-On feature on your storefront they may upload a photo of themselves. We do not store, log, or retain any shopper photos. The image is transmitted directly to the Plushvie AI processing backend, the result is returned to the shopper's browser, and the original photo is immediately discarded. No personally identifiable information about your customers is ever written to our database.

• To authenticate API requests to the Plushvie AI backend on your behalf.
• To generate AI product images and videos for your catalogue.
• To display your credit balance and usage history within the App dashboard.
• To save generated assets to your Shopify products when you request it.
• To provide support and respond to enquiries.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the App.

• All data is stored in a secured database accessible only to the App server.
• Your Client Key is encrypted using AES-256-CBC before being written to the database and is never exposed in any API response or browser session.
• All communication between your browser, the App server, and the Plushvie AI backend is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS.
• Shopper photos are never written to disk or any storage layer — they are processed entirely in memory and discarded immediately after the AI response is returned.

The App sends data to the following third-party service solely to operate its features:

• Plushvie AI Backend (console.plushvie.in) — receives product images and shopper photos (in-memory only) to generate AI try-on results, product photos, and videos. This service is operated by Plushvie and is subject to Plushvie's own data handling practices.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any other third party.

• Merchant configuration data (API keys, product mappings, settings) is retained for as long as the App is installed on your store.
• When you uninstall the App, all your data is automatically deleted from our database within 48 hours in accordance with Shopify's shop/redact webhook requirement.
• Shopper photos are never retained — they are discarded immediately after processing.

Depending on your jurisdiction you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data.
• Object to or restrict processing of your data.

As a Shopify merchant, you can also initiate data requests through your Shopify admin. We respond to all Shopify-initiated GDPR webhooks (customers/data_request, customers/redact, shop/redact) automatically.
